Power Conditioning System (PCS) can be considered a viable solution for improving the quality and the reliability of the electric energy supply. In the most general sense, “power conditioning” refers to control of voltage deviations. Voltage deviations that are typically thought to be addressed by power conditioning include steady-state voltage regulation, voltage waveform distortion due to harmonics, and fast voltage transients.
